All our work is individually handcrafted from polymer clay in our own original designs. The type of clay we use is called Kato Polyclay, which after baking, becomes very hard. We prefer this brand of clay because it is much stronger than other clays, making our handcrafted items more resistant to breaking and will last for years.
Many of the patterns you see in our creations are not painted but created by combining and manipulating the clay. Each piece is formed by hand, hardened in our special oven at a precise temperature, hand sanded and then buffed with a special wax.
Other techniques we use involve texturing, stamping, carving, antiquing and screen printing.
Here are some photos for a peek into our studio to see how some of our pieces are created.
