Add some art to your walls by decorating switch plate covers with polymer clay. While there are several tutorials available in books and on the net on how to do this, I haven't found any that go into very much detail for finishing them properly.
In this lesson, you will learn how to create different textured and embossed styles with added embellishments. I will also share some of my tips and tricks on how to achieve a more professional finish.
This lesson also gives step-by-step instructions on how to create an ocean themed switch plate cover using layered textures, moulded embellishments and mica powders.
It consists of 26 pages broken down into 64 steps and includes more than 68 photos for easy and clear instruction.
Even though this tutorial is clearly explained, a basic understanding of working with polymer clay (conditioning, etc.) is recommended.
Please note that instructions to make the flowers are not included -- Please see my separate tutorial for this technique. I also have both listed together as a combo for a special price so you can save.
